
GenAI Portal
This project was for a multinational finance company. The first ask was to create a GenAI Portal for the employees to access their AI Assistants. The second ask was to create an Admin Portal to create assistants.

About the Client
The client is a multinational banking and financial services corporation.
They have branched across many locations globally serving over 5 million customers. They are on the Fortune Global 500 List.
Track 1: GenAI Portal
On this track, I mostly worked on Interaction and Visual Design. The problem statement and user persona were provided to me by the design team. They created the POC of the screens.
I improved the designs to first create the MVP. Once the MVP was approved by the stakeholders, I worked on the high fidelity designs. I created clickable prototypes to demonstrate a walkthrough of the user journey to the stakeholders.

I was the UX owner for this track since its conception. I carried out various steps involved in the UX Design Process on this track.
From research, ideation, high fidelity design to clickable prototypes, I was thoroughly involved in each step.

User Persona

Process
As the UX Owner, my first task was to design an interface for the Admins to ‘create new assistants’.
As the users are not back end experts, this process has to be simplified for them.
But there were challenges
Challenge 1: New Domain
We are familiar with GenAI tools in our workflow as front end users, but many of us are not aware of how these tools are created. The whole team faced this same challenge.
How I resolved the challenge
I researched on existing admin platforms and AI tools like ChatGPT, M Copilot and Gemini.
This helped me understand the best practices in assistant creation and the use of APIs in the process.

I started with Research
I studied the assistant creation process of top AI tools like MS Copilot, ChatGPT’s MyGPT and Google Gemini. From my research, I gathered insights on the features and best practices.



User Flow: Create New Assistant
I designed user flows to help me define various steps involved in creating new assistant.
These steps were based on the API’s capabilities.
I had knowledge transfer sessions to understand the API functionalities with the back end team.
Based on the user flows, I started the visualization of the user interface.
